I am a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor with a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Massachusetts Boston. I specialize in helping individuals navigate life challenges, including anxiety disorders, OCD, depression, PTSD, and adjustment difficulties. I have additional experience supporting children, families, and adults dealing with complex emotional and behavioral needs.
My therapy style is integrative, combining evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) with holistic principles drawn from my work with traditional healers in Costa Rica and Gabon, Africa. My approach emphasizes mindfulness, self-awareness, and practical strategies, making therapy accessible and relatable through the use of metaphors and storytelling.
My goal is to empower clients by providing them with tools to achieve lasting emotional balance and personal growth, tailoring my approach to meet each client's unique needs. I aim to inspire hope and equip clients with skills to confidently navigate their challenges and embrace meaningful change.
Outside of practice I enjoy spending time with my wife and young son, studying biochemistry, practicing martial arts, disc golf, and hiking. I am fluent in Spanish.
